Big Bang Presents

™ and ©2006 the respective creators

After stops at Caliber and Image, Big Bang goes the self-publishing route with this anthology. Created by Gary Carlson and Chris Ecker, the Big Bang line pays loving tribute to the comics of yesteryear. The stories are written in the styles of the Golden and Silver ages and they feature characters that will seem very familiar to fans of those eras. For example, the first issue introduces Protoplasman, a respectful homage to Jack Cole’s work on Plastic Man, into the Big Bang Universe. The issue also features Big Bang’s Batman-inspired Knight Watchman in a story written and drawn in the style of late comic legend Will Eisner.
