Timothy Hunter is 14 years old. A couple of years ago, a man stepped out of the shadows and asked if he wanted magic in his life. Magic did enter his life—like a hurricane—and swept away everything he ever cared about.

In this five-issue mini-series, Timothy again finds himself on the road, and being pursued by those who want to control his power, or end his life. He will face Faerie warriors and mysterious armed men. And he will follow this path to magic with a man identified only as “A Walker,” who seems to know Doctor Occult, John Constantine, and the others that have entered Tim’s life.

Continuing the story begun in Books of Magic, Timothy must now find his true name in order to be admitted to the White School and survive the dangers that surround him.
