A very twisted yet very funny super-hero parody done in a very cartoony-type fashion, with characters such as Convenience Boy, Heurequeque, and Doktor Codexus. The goofy super-hero characters engage in very graphic violence despite their almost stick figure appearances. After reading this, one can see the obvious inspiration from the X-Men as the super-hero group has a more elderly “leader” that is trying to corral the group, usually unsuccessfully. Author and illustrator John Lewis may be better known for his work on Robin #100-120, but this is considerably different.
