Stan Lee and Steve Ditko together again? Not exactly. But this oversized collection, exclusive to Target stores, presents the first four issues of the “Marvel Age” Spider-Man title, in which four early adventures of the wall-crawler, by comic book legends Lee and Ditko, are retold for a modern audience. Thus, Spider-Man’s battles with the Vulture, Doctor Octopus, the Tinkerer, the Sandman, and Doctor Doom, as well as Peter Parker’s struggles to pay his Aunt May’s bills, come to life again in these pages.

These comics are intended for younger audiences, but longtime Spider-Man fans will enjoy this lighthearted trip down memory lane, featuring squabbles between our hero and J. Jonah Jameson and Peter’s efforts to get a date. Stories are written by Daniel Quantz and drawn by Mark Brooks and Jonboy Meyers.
