This black and white magazine briefly explores the myths and legends of Ancient Greece; the real focus is the work of former Swamp Thing artist Mike Hoffman, which seems to have been inspired by the art of Frank Frazetta. Here, readers will be introduced to the likes of Athena, Andromeda, Aphrodite, Pygmalion, and Prometheus, as well as brought up to speed on events such as the blinding of Polyphemus and Hercules’ battle with Death. The pictures are, indeed, stunning, and the text is minimal, allowing the drawings to speak for themselves.
