Deep into the future and far into outer space, there comes an adventurer from humanity’s own past: Rick Montana, Space Cowboy. With beautiful companion Cindy—daughter of a famous scientist from an alien world—at his side, the Space Cowboy journeys to strange planets, battles bizarre monsters, and occasionally gets assistance from beautiful, spacesuit clad damsels he meets along the way. One day he’s fighting space pirates, the next day he’s fighting a robot who bears a striking resemblance to… Adolf Hitler? The events of this series are bounded only by the writer’s imagination.

Openly acknowledging its debt to classic science fiction like Flash Gordon, this title pays homage to a number of similar space–spanning epics from yesteryear. The black and white yet colorful adventures are by J. David Spurlock and Pat Binder; issues features covers by creators like Frank Frazetta and Dan Brereton.
