Nicolas Robel presents an exploration of one lonely character and his fears in Fallen Angel. Barnabé lives an entirely isolated life, completely unaware of the vicinity of a city and other people, and though he explores the wilderness around him, he is unwilling to look for human companionship. His fears keep him near-paralyzed at the thought of socializing, and nightmares plague him every night.

Then a magical event shakes Barnabé to his core, and leads him to not only attempt to communicate with other people, but to struggle with the difficulty of elegant communication with the opposite sex.
