Qin has worked hard to achieve the inner peace and discipline needed to become a Buddhist master. But just as he finds his place in the order, his teacher is attacked. With his dying words, he tells Qin to protect the three baskets, hidden scriptures that hold untold knowledge and form the foundation of their beliefs. Now Qin must travel to Japan to save the most sacred texts of his religion. And his desire for vengeance counteracts the very spirit of balance that religion strives to attain.
