Forlorn Funnies

Critics hailed creator Paul Hornschemeier’s experimental, format-bending series as among the best independent titles. The book debuted with an enigmatic first issue that had nothing to do with the succeeding issues as it quickly launched into the pensive story arc of a young boy, Thomas Tennant, dealing with the loss of his mother and the subsequent mental collapse of his father. The child longs for happier days but sadly realizes that he cannot alter his lonesome reality.
