X-Men: Magneto War

This series kicks off an X-Men crossover story in which super-mutant Magneto decides to rid the world of human beings once and for all—a mission that, of course, flies in the face of Professor Xavier’s dream of the peaceful coexistence of homo sapien and homo superior. Here, with the help of a group of Magneto’s former Acolytes, we learn the X-Men’s darkest dreams involving Magneto, Xavier fears for the lives of his Children of the Atom, Wolverine relives the loss of his adamantium, and Rogue watches helplessly as Gambit and Magneto fight for her love. Mutants, mutants everywhere as yet another X-Men “event” takes off.
