Back in 1987, two soldiers named Cross and Noble were ambushed while on a military mission in Africa. Trying to seek sanctuary from the attack, they made their way onto the property of a drug dealer named Debelo Melombe. Melombe didn’t appreciate the visitors, and he set his vampiric bodyguards on them. Noble sacrificed himself to the blood-sucking fiends to save the life of his comrade.

Cross eventually became a vampire himself, and now works for the Covert Vampiric Operations team. The CVO is being called in to finally take down Melombe. Unfortunately, he has a brand new personal bodyguard—a superior breed of vampire—and Cross’ old friend Noble.
