Lucca has the responsibility of caring for her troubled sister, Gae. Their father has died, and their mother is institutionalized for the same mental instability that plagues Gae. As Lucca struggles to help her sister as best she can, she also needs to hold down a job and finish her studies at the local college; attempting to keep her life as normal as possible. But as Gae begins more troubling episodes, she starts to tell Lucca details about how their father was murdered, and why. Can Lucca trust what may be hallucinations from a deranged mind, or could there be a conspiracy around her that she never noticed before?
