In a paragraph introducing this collection, writer/artist Nate Powell states these four autobiographical stories are “about delusion and distraction.” They are also about jobs, trying to make human connections, dealing with feelings of restlessness, growing older and many other aspects of the human condition. Culled from his every day life from March 2002 to July 2005, Powell relates the mundane and the sublime of his existence with a poetic style in both his words and images.
