The Sign of the Four

This book is a showcase of art samples from four accomplished fantasy artists who are also close friends. Each artist provides a brief text piece highlighting recent events in his career followed by seven pages of images of varying sizes. Trading card art, Tori Amos calendar art, and a seascape painted while on a family vacation are presented by Christopher Moeller.

Dave Dorman provides a model sheet and poster art for the upcoming Alex Cryss Chronicles. Paintings from a new graphic novel called “Till Death” are Scott Hampton’s offering as well as a page of nude life drawings. And Ray Lago displays pages from “The Night Sky over Kansas” for a grammar school textbook and some private commissions featuring Vampirella and Yoda.

The title of this volume was inspired from the second Sherlock Holmes novel written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
