Lobo: Portrait of a Victim

    (DC, 1993)
DC

Legions of readers get a guilty thrill out of watching Lobo work his special kind of ultraviolence against anyone who gets in his way. But what about the innocent victims—those who are merely caught in the wrong place at the wrong time? Don’t they ever worry about these poor souls while they’re busy giggling?

At last, DC presents the other side. Told by one “John Doe,” bandaged from head to toe in the hospital, we get the victim’s story for once. To hear him tell it, he was just minding his own business and playing a friendly game of poker in his favorite bar. Then Lobo appeared and ruined his life. Before it was over, John would unwillingly eat an ash tray, and be brutalized beyond recognition.

Would the Main Man really be so cruel? Find out in Lobo: Portrait of a Victim.
