She can travel through it and, in small amounts, stop it entirely. The special centers on the Captain Clockwork of 2017 as she travels through time to stop renegade robots who intend to change history. In the process, she gets to meet her ancestors, each of whom was their era’s Captain Clockwork. She also learns a dark family secret that will change the way she relates to her loved ones in the future.
