This one-shot stars popular Excalibur member, Colossus, a Russian mutant who can transform his body into a form of impervious steel. Colossus and Meggan, a British faerie who can shapeshift herself and other objects and control nature, are kidnapped by the villainous assassin Arcade. Colossus broke through the deadly virtual-reality pods he and Meggan were trapped in, and found out who hired Arcade to murder them. This fast-paced adventure ties into many other storylines from concurrent X-Men-based titles.
