Billed as the fourteenth book in the “Ignatz” collection, this volume features the work of Gilbert Hernandez of Love and Rockets fame. Though similar in style to Rockets, this is somewhat more autobiographical, with Hernandez returning to his roots in a story about the children of Old Palomar stealing food from everyone. The sheriff is on the case to solve it, but will he really? You’ll find out by reading this self-contained tale that is presented in the typical “Ignatz” two-tone style.
