From the Publisher:

In these intertwined stories we follow the adventures of Glenn Ganges as he encounters the curses of this world and the next in the suburbs of midwestern America. The stories include “Green Tea,” a Victorian ghost story about a tormented priest; “28th Street,” a re-working of a folk tale set among Sudanese refugees, millions of starlings, and enchanted gas stations; and “Not Sleeping Together,” a story about staying up all night. “The Hot New Thing,” which appeared in TIME, is a parable about believing the hype. “Jeepers Jacob,” which appeared in Kramers Ergot, is a portrait of a professor who writes about hell and loves to golf. Huizenga fuses the mundane and the magical in a genial cartoony style with a literary scope that is rare in comics today.
