Artists Zach Howard and Sean Murphy team up with co-writer Reed Buccholz to tell tales about the team of Krunk and Quinn, a large, green, cranky alien ex-cop and his skinny, fast-talking, blue-skinned pizza delivering companion, in this science-fiction comedy. As the title of the book implies, this comic takes place on the fringes of a typical sci-fi adventure as the protagonists might typically serve as background characters in a Star Wars or Star Trek movie. If a movie version were to be made of this comic, it might have more in common with a Tarantinoesque caper comedy and might appeal to comic fans as a lighter version of a Lobo story.
