When a wealthy Pokémon collector captures one of the three legendary bird Pokemon, the balance of nature is upset, throwing weather around the globe into chaos. If Ash and Pikachu can find three ancient treasures they can repair the damage, but to get there, they have to avoid the two remaining legendary Pokemon, now ravaging the atmosphere! And with trouble the word of the day, can Team Rocket be far away?

The official movie adaptation, this four-part series is welcome territory for card collectors and followers of the popular card and cartoon. There are the usual comic scenes mixed with harmless cartoon action sequences. Plot elements don’t go far beyond the borders of the show, but fans of the series will appreciate the inclusion of the actual cel art.
