Aline and the Others

Guy Delisle serves up twenty-six adult-only short tales in Aline and the Others, each story featuring a different woman, from bold, experimental Aline, to the tragic Élodie, the fragile Paméla, and finally to the self-absorbed Zoé. Each tale stands alone, and each one displays a quirky, disenchanted view of the world, but with a fair amount of humor, as the ladies (and sometimes the men around them) struggle to find understanding and love in bleak surroundings.
