Yoshitaka Amano arrives with an impressive resume. His career began in anime character design from which he moved on to illustration work in the Vampire Hunter D and Demon City Shinjuku novels, and was instrumental in designing the look of the Final Fantasy franchise. He went international with the Neil Gaiman collaboration Sandman: The Dream Hunters and Marvel’s Elektra and Wolverine: The Redeemer.

This collection gathers previously unpublished paintings and ink washings from Amano’s original work, Hero. Dark images and exotic looks combine for a fantastic journey through the mind of a master.
