Welcome to the 21st century, mankind’s darkest hour. The ideals of freedom, justice, and liberty have been erased. All citizens are tested for the X-factor gene that is known to cause mutations. America is no more. At the dawn of the millennium, the government was overthrown by the fourth generation of Sentinels after Congress mandated their deactivation. Unshackled from their human masters, the Sentinels attempt to fulfill their prime directive: absolute mutant eradication. Jubilee, sustained by her love for Synch and her desire to free the surviving X-Men, reluctantly joins forces with Magneto as they try to locate Wolverine. It’s man against man, mutant against mutant, and everyone against the Sentinels. The world has gone mad and its only salvation might be delivered by Magneto, the most hated mutant of all.
