The Others (Image)

The Many are a race of intelligent, animal-like beings who live underground in a secret base called the Enclave. They have labored long and hard to stay out of the sight of the annoying human race. This invisibility ceases when the Others: Racket, Guardd, Rebound, and Klone are ordered to confront human military personnel who were about to stumble upon their Antarctic home. In the battle, one of the four soldiers is killed and the others are left in dire need of medical attention. The team members made a quick decision to bring the humans to the Many’s healers. By doing so, they may have saved the humans’ lives, but sacrificed their own safety.

Jim Valentino, co-founder of Image Comics and creator of the immensely popular character, ShadowHawk, published this new title in the spring of 1995. The Others first appeared in the pages of ShadowHawk (Vol. 1) #3.
