This one-shot from Crusade brings us, as the title suggests, a team-up combining Tomoe Gozan (from the pages of Shi, and the Tomoe mini-series) and Detective Sara Pezzini, better known as Witchblade. An evildoer has kidnapped the 36 pure souls, known as the Lamedvov. He now must steal the sacred artifacts of the world’s diverse cultures to build a weapon to destroy the 36 and steal their saintly power for his own. Fate conspires to draw Tomoe and Witchblade together from opposite sides of the world to preserve the 36 and prevent the world’s descent into chaos! But how can their awesome fighting skills defeat an opponent who will attack them with their own feelings of inadequacy and regret?
