Nightmare On Elm Street Special

Of all the teenage slasher flicks to come out of the 1980s, the Nightmare on Elm Street films were the most cerebral. Instead of simply tracking the teens down and hacking them to death like Jason or Michael Myers would, Freddy Krueger would enter their dreams and kill them in the most gruesomely imaginative ways possible, usually quipping bad puns along the way.

Brian Pulido (Lady Death, Evil Ernie) captures the spirit of the movies and artist Juan Jose Jyp (Frank Miller’s Robocop, Shi: Pandora’s Box) amps up the gore content. This Special focuses on Freddy’s return to haunt the students of Springwood High School. However, there is a conspiracy afoot that might be more of a threat to the students than Freddy is.
