The Psyba-Rats

    (DC, 1995)
™ and ©1995 DC Comics.

The Psyba-Rats are three teenagers who have been strange powers by an encounter with aliens. The three are Razorsharp, a girl who can form her limbs into metallic prongs; Channelman, a virtual human television station, able to broadcast himself along the airwaves at will; and Hackrat a good-natured computer genius who acts as the “brains” of the group.

Since they came upon their powers, the group has made its living as freelance industrial spies. As this three-issue series begins, they have been hired to break into the personal computer of C. Josh Branchwater, one of the world’s wealthiest men. Having downloaded the contents of the hard drive, they had a prize worth two million dollars to a mysterious third party. Unknown to the Psyba-Rats, however, the mass of encrypted data on that hard drive included a very special formula—one that could change the world if it fell into the wrong hands.
