Dr. Kildare

Like Ben Casey, Dr. Kildare ran on network television from 1961-1966. Kildare had a previous incarnation as a series of short feature films in the 1930s and 40s, but this comic book is based on the 60s series that starred Richard Chamberlain as the young medical intern. Raymond Massey starred as Kildare’s surgeon mentor. Together they took care of the medical problems of their patients, sometimes becoming more involved with their personal lives than they probably should have been.
