Devil’s Due’s 2007 Free Comic Book Day offering gives us a glimpse at what the company does best—horror and licensed properties. One half of the flip book is devoted to a preview of their Family Guy series and the other half features their popular homegrown franchise, Hack/Slash.

The Family Guy section is extremely faithful to the show, right down to the Griffin house being used as a cutaway scene. The Hack/Slash section details the character’s origin and background, providing new readers everything they need to know before picking up the new Hack/Slash series.
