May 5th, 2007 heralded the sixth Free Comic Book Day! Publishers provided comic book stores with free books to lure customers in and hopefully get the reading public interested in their particular books.

From 1930 until 1975, Floyd Gottfredson found himself working with the Disney people and putting out the Mickey Mouse newspaper strip. In this Comic Book Day offering, readers are treated to a couple of his 1936 stories. “The Robin Hood Adventure” chronicles Mickey falls into one of his favorite stories and has some interesting adventures. “Mickey’s Rival” has our original mouseketeer meets Minnie’s friend Mortimer and discovers the path to love can be filled with practical jokes galore.
