Deimos
(Class, 2004)
™ and © 2004 Class Comics
The titular character of Deimos is a fallen angel who wishes to win his way back into Heaven. To do this, he must perform tasks for God, most of which involve stopping his former demon cohorts from wreaking havoc on the world. However, his position of straddling the line between Heaven and Hell has not made him many friends on either side, and even Bob (better known as the Devil) vows to see Deimos defeated.
No doubt, there is a pretty epic storyline of religious warfare going on here, but as Deimos is an adult title, there’s also a lot of sex, mostly homosexual in nature. Writer/artist Patrick Fillion takes care to draw all his characters, be they angels, demons, or humans, incredibly well-endowed (Bob’s penis, a profile page notes, is four feet long and must be lifted off the ground by a troupe of tiny demons whenever he wishes to go anywhere). Characters often engage in sexual activity, although usually this plays into the larger context of the story—for instance, Deimos may use sex as a way to dispatch with his enemies.
