G.I.Joe: Special Missions Brazil

The G.I. Joe elite team gets a little break, and the reserve members take the spotlight in this giant-size one-shot focusing as much on the Joe’s history as their present.

In the first story, flashbacks reveal how a reconnaissance mission in Brazil—though technically successful and thus considered closed—left a sour taste in the mouths of the agents involved when things didn’t go as expected. Years later, they’re given a second chance to redeem their honor and finally put the case behind them.

In the second tale, Cover Girl and Shipwreck are supposed to be enjoying a romantic vacation—naturally, their trip involves busting the heads of a few international criminals. Flashbacks reveal the long and sometimes difficult journey these two very different agents have traveled—evolving over the years into not just friends but the lovable couple they are today.
