Death and the Man Who Would Not Die

    (Silent Devil, 2007)
© 2007 James Patrick

Josiah Clark is a bad man, and there are a lot of people who want him dead. Unfortunately for them, Clark can’t be killed—he’s stolen the watch that signifies his personal time to die from Death himself. Now he travels the Old West leaving misery and corpses in his wake. Someone is following Clark, though, and that someone rides a pale horse and aims to reclaim his watch.

Early on we’re told that this a story for bad children, and so it is. There are no heroes in it, just bad men and the things they’ve done and have yet to do. Creepy writing from James Patrick and haunting painted art from Se7enhedd make for a spooky tale of horror. The mini-series is a sequel to Death Comes to Dillinger, by the same creators.
