In the 22nd century, the war-ravaged countries of Earth have at last found peace under the watchful eyes of Aegis, a central management bureau operated from the powerful city-state of Olympus. It was Aegis’ “bioroid” technology of artificially enhanced humans that was largely responsible for mankind’s successful rebuilding of civilization. But now there are plans to turn all humans into bioroids, and restless unease begins to spread through the world once again.

For Olympian police officer Deunan, and her cyborg partner Briareos, world politics usually takes second place to maintaining the peace in a city whose underside is as big and nasty as the skyline is bright. They get more than they bargained for when they wind up trying to stop the rampage of a flesh-eating feline bioroid who has gone “rogue.”
