The Last One

Myrwann is the last of the immortals—all the others have long since given up to the New. Now only Myrwann is left, driven onward by love for life, and a need to help save lost souls. He (there is some debate about Myrwann’s gender—such things meant little to the immortals) now operates a shelter of sorts in New York City’s East Village. It is there that he takes in the lonely, the abused, or the simply forgotten. He heals and restores them to what they were before the world ran them down.

This series features the evocative storytelling of J.M. DeMatteis, with brilliantly painted pages by Dan Sweetman (Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children).
