Rick Spears and Rob G try their hand at the typical buddy story set in an atypical world, taking a few jabs at current events as they go. K.D. and Emil are ‘collateral managers’ in a future world where repo teams are empowered to collect any assets, from anyone, the minute the debt is declared defaulted. It’s a life on the edge of the law, just shy of robbery, and with its fair share of danger. At the same time, the Clone Liberation Army is striking any blow they can, from car bombs to simple scare tactics, keeping the city engulfed in terror. But when a big job comes down the line, a number of repossession companies are aiming for it, sending in their best teams, even though it might take them directly into the line of fire.
