This series takes the familiar Carl Barks story reprints and adds a twist: as Don Rosa is now considered heir to the throne on all things Duckburg, this series reprints Carl Barks’ original stories and follows it up with Don Rosa’s sequel or updating. There are also articles to explain how or why the original came about and Don himself explains how and why he came up with his follow-up. It’s great to contrast the two stories and fascinating to revisit old friends and situations in a new tale.
