Less a complete story than an history lesson about the relationship between the Darkness, the Witchblade, Magdalena and the Angelus, this #1/2 one-shot from Top Cow also introduces a new villain into the mix. The Magdalena is a warrior nun, tasked by the Holy Catholic Church to be ever vigilant as to the whereabouts and activities of The Darkness. Angelus is the reincarnated spirit of a long dead South American god, forever in battle against the immortal dark god of the moon. As regular Top Cow readers know, The Witchblade and the Darkness are in constant opposition to each other and now even more players have been thrown into the mix of this eternal struggle.
