Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, The Comic
(Killer Tomato, 2003)
™ and ©2003 Killer Tomato Entertainment
A sequel to both the 1978 film and the 1990 cartoon show, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: the Comic looks at what happens when genetic research on food goes bad—the food comes alive and eats you. At least, it does if the head of this research is named Dr. Gangreen, or perhaps Dr. Infecto.
In this, the third wave of tomato attacks (or “Tomato Wars,” as the comic refers to them), college student Dave Valiant’s friend gets eaten by killer tomatoes in front of his eyes, but no one will believe him. No one, that is, except Tomato War veteran Wilbur Finletter, who teams up with Dave to bring evil corporation Technedible down. This book thus becomes a necessary read for any fans of the movie or cartoon show, and is probably the last outlet left in our society for stories about killer vegetables.
