Derrick Peters used to be a member of the Park Falls Police Department, but he’d left that life behind. Or so he thought. When a woman whom the police have ignored comes to him with a story of what’s behind the murders in town, his first instinct is to kick her out. His second instinct is to listen, despite the madness behind her words. There couldn’t possibly be zombies in Park Falls, but how else to explain the victims with teeth marks on their bodies…

If you’ve read one zombie tale you’ve read a lot of them, but this one is at least well drawn and goes for subtle horror rather than over-the-top gore.
