Iron and the Maiden

Michael Iron is no saint; he’s been working in organized crime for 20 years now. Iron does, however, have scruples, and likes to believe that most of the people he kills have it coming. So when one of his fellow thugs gets a little too violent while collecting on a debt, Iron tries to stop him—and finds out the guy was waiting for just such an opportunity to take him out. Iron survives, but his life is completely different. Not only has he changed, but so have his allies. In a world shaped by a three-way battle between the Government, the Order, and the Syndicate, Iron now has a new partner: The Maiden.

This ultra-violent, vaguely over-the-top series features characters designed by Joe Madureira, and they’re drawn that way. Jason Rubin and Francis Manapul collaborate.
