In Ghosting, Fred Van Lente and Charles Carvalho tell a frightening tale of horrors that may or may not be real. The new pledges of the Omega Kappa Delta fraternity and the Epsilon Epsilon Epsilon sorority are spared the college ritual of hazing thanks to an administrative ban, so their brothers and sisters find a more creative way to usher them in—scaring them witless. Unfortunately, some of the pranks may come a little too close to reality, and they seem to have some supernatural tie to the gruesome death of Paul Gaston, a member of the last Omega class to actually be hazed, who killed his girlfriend and her new lover in a fit of rage on hazing night, then set the Omega house on fire and burned up with it. Or maybe it’s all a game. But a few of the more sensitive students aim to find out what’s really going on, and in true horror story fashion, there’s sure to be lots of unexpected and frightening twists along the way.
