Vampirella vs Pantha

A series of brutal murders, apparently perpetrated by a large panther or other jungle cat, has attracted the attention of Vampirella. All the victims were scientists associated with the mysterious Danse Macabre Institute.

Vampi suspects the ferocious shape-shifter Pantha, who had once been a prisoner of that institute. Although the character of Pantha has been associated with Vampirella since issue #30 of the original magazine run, this updated version was first seen in the Catwoman/Vampirella crossover. She’s both deadlier and sexier than the original incarnation.

The two scantily-clad females end up in a nasty no-holds-barred cat-fight, with Vampi trying to talk the bloodthirsty panther out of killing her last victim. She finally convinces Pantha that seeking revenge makes her as bad as her enemies, but by this time the poor guy is taken down by a pair of real panthers. So much for taking a moral stand.
