This series by Paul Grist chronicles the day–to–day trials and tribulations of an honest thief just trying to make his way in a crazy world. How much can an average bloke take, anyway? A typical day for Bill includes, but is not limited to, an arrest, a violent case of mistaken identity, an attempt on his life, and the loss of his hard–earned ill–gotten goods. It’s enough to drive the average criminal straight. Add to the mix an ambitious young reporter who’ll stop at nothing to get her byline on the front page, a few dirty–dealing politicians, a public murder, and a scheming heiress or two, and you have the makings of a great soap opera.
