From the Publisher:

This graphic novel is a Quebec folk art treasure. Hello, Me Pretty is the English edition of Té malade, toi! (Les 400 coups). It is a story of the author’s mentally disabled sister and their adventures growing up in a small community just outside Montreal, with Expo ’67 and the FLQ crisis as part of the historical backdrop. It is a story of people’s intolerance and lack of understanding, but mostly a story about being different. It is also a valuable glimpse into one family’s personal trials and tribulations, woven into the tapestry of Quebecs’s rich culture and history.
