Leave it to gang at Parody Press! for this blistering parody of Wetworks and WildC.A.T.S. Meet the canine members of Petworks: Great Dane, Airedale, Pester, Labrador, Brown Noser, and Illgrim. Everything is fair game as the group wears futuristic body armor, displays the all too common “gritted teeth” pose and has feminine characters with voluptuous body shapes just like their human counterparts. Representing the felines are the WildK.A.T.S. characters: Mrwal, Spurrtin Adriannip, Voodoodoo, Pawblade, Griddle, Vealot, and their tabby leader Hempcliff.

WildH.A.T.S. is another parody that hits the mark with teammates’ scuffles over trivial matters such as the size of one’s nose and misinterpreted cornball dialog. Look for the panels drawn specifically for “high resale value.” Anyone who reads comic books regularly can instantly recognize the sarcastic humor and transparent commercialism cleverly woven throughout the story. No Wetworks or WildC.A.T.S. character remains unscathed in this book.
