There’s no unifying theme to Awesome, except the aptness of its title. Collecting short black and white pieces by some of the more prominent independent and web creators, this 200+ page collection packs lots of humor, some genuinely terrifying horror, and some real heartbreaking, poignant and sweet pieces. Basically, it’s a walk through all the human emotions that are actually worth feeling. The most marvelous anthology of the year, young though it may be. There’s literally something for everyone, though not everything may appeal to readers of certain sensibilities and sensitivities.
