Ida is just a happy go lucky type of vampire. He has an almost overly simplistic way of looking at life that frustrates and confuses his childhood friend Adell while secretly amusing his older friend Kira.

One day, Ida is injured while exploring the human world in his bat form. He eventually finds himself under the care of a young human witch named Yuh-ur. After nursing Ida to health under the impression that he was just a cute bat, Yuh-ur is none too happy to discover her pet bat is actually a fully grown vampire! The two strike up a cautious friendship despite Yuh-ur’s classmates’ warnings that vampires are not to be trusted. When one of Yuh-ur’s classmates is found unconscious with bite marks on her neck, Yuh-ur finds herself doubting her new friend’s honesty while Ida tries to track down the real culprit behind the attack. This first volume of this manhwa (Korean comic) by Lee Na Hyeon explores the friendship that is possible between people from different worlds if only people learn to overcome their prejudices.
