Wallace Christopher is a paper-pusher for British Intelligence, a man gifted at seeing patterns in random data. When missiles are stolen in Kazakhstan, the mercenary group The Circle is held responsible. Only Wallace knows that the second in command of The Circle, Ilona ‘the girl bandit’, is in Tokyo and living a quiet life. Concerned that Ilona’s partner, Ulee, once a well-meaning revolutionary, is in over his head, Wallace approaches Ilona in the hope that she will help talk Ulee into turning himself in. Soon Wallace is involved in more than he could have imagined and fighting for his life.
